Pay Scale: Rs. 25000/- + HRA

National Institute of Nutrition Hyderabad
National Institute of Nutrition was incorporated in the year 1918 and was founded by Sir Robert Mc Carrison. The Institute was started at the Pasteur Institute, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. After seven year the institute was established into a “Deficiency Disease Enquiry” and later in the year 1928 it was named as “Nutrition Research Laboratories”. It was migrated to in 1958 to Hyderabad.
In the year 1969 the institute has celebrated its Golden Jubilee and during that time it was renamed as National Institute of Nutrition. The Institute has achieved global recognition for the revolutionary studies on numerous areas of diet analysis, with unique recommendation to proteins energy malnutrition (PEM). Institute’s routines are broad-based, including the entire part of food and nutrition. The Institute has accomplished near integration in the investigation routines between the laboratory, the clinic and the neighbourhood.
The focus transferred to problem-oriented study, with the intention to finding useful methods to nutrition issues that may be utilized within the active socio-economic structure. National Institute of Nutrition, over the eighty years of wonderful service to the nation, needs to the credit a remarkable record of accomplishments in the improvement of a number of dietary problems of our people.
The main focus of the Institution is it is located on the salubrious campus of Osmania University. The University is completely surrounded with green vegetation. The Institute has many different disciplines which are medicine, biochemistry, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, pathology, dietetics, social sciences, statistics, communication community health and other related areas.
